Exiting the Airport keep to the right.
Take highway 307 South; the sign reads,
CHETUMAL and takes you to all points south.
Since it is the only highway that runs north
and south, you can't miss it.
There are gas stations on the way to
Tankah Bay at Puerto Morelos, Playa del Carmen,
Puerto Aventuras and Xpu-Ha.

Soliman Bay
About 7 kilometres (not Miles) after Xel-Ha,
there is a small sign that says “Blue Sky Hotel 1 km”.
Then at the 1 km mark is a very tall sign that hangs up over the highway says:
"Tankah Tres Bay- Blue Sky Hotel".
And this is where you turn left.
NOTE:(when making left hand turns, please pull over to the right shoulder
and wait until no cars
are coming in either direction, then make your left turn) onto ther
dirt road and continue
about (1 Kilometre). At the dead-end, turn left and Blue Sky is also
about a Kilometre.
Blue Sky Hotel is just past Casa Cenote.
If you end up in Tulum – you missed the turn off on the m
ain highway to Blue Sky –
So turn around and go back about 6 km until you
find " Tankah Tres - Blue Sky Hotel" sign.
Beware when turning left from the highway.
If there is a special lane provided do as you normally
would but look behind making sure traffic is
clear before you turn. At other times when making
a left hand turn from the highway in more
obscure locations ALWAYS check your rear view mirr
or first! It is customary to pull off the road
to your right, put your left blinker or emergency flashe
rs on and wait for traffic to clear. With no
one else in either direction make your left turn. ------
BEWARE on your drive south from the
airport..... At Puerto Morelos and Playa del Carmen
there are cement medians that divide the
highway. These are marked by reflectors in the road.
Please be careful not to hit them.
